Adelaide Open Food Map – Interactive, Data-Driven Restaurant Maps
I’m excited to release a new way to discover and find new restaurants in Adelaide. We are so lucky here to have so many greate foody spots. However, that makes choosing one difficult sometimes.
That’s why leverage the amzing project by Lauren Leek, with some modifications and little improvements to build a a data-driven restaurant discovery for Adelaide and immediate surrounding suburbs Adelaide Open Food Map.
The project collects restaurant data (e.g. via Google Maps API), runs a simple ML model to surface “underrated” spots by comparing ratings to review counts, and generates interactive HTML maps with cuisine filters and borough-style analysis.
